One of the most popular hot rod cars in the automotive industry on more than fifty years ago was still the 1932 Ford Deuce Roadster and it was considered as the total revision of the Model A. When the Model A has been stopped in the United States and became absolute in the market, the production of 1932 Ford Deuce Roadster began. It was totally different compared to its predecessor; it was more refined, more comfortable, and more powerful and has more elegant lines.

Over the years, the popularity of the Ford has always remained strong. In fact ’32 Deuce Roadster was easy to find and very inexpensive during late 40s. Because of its simplicity, unique aesthetics it was called as a masterpiece in the auto industry and became an American icon as the quintessential hot rod.

One of the best assets of Ford Deuce Roadster is the timeless grille. The two different styles are the one-piece inserts and two-piece inserts. The one-piece inserts have a fixed trim ring that the ends of the teeth go through which were painted light gray. The second-piece inserts had a stainless band that could be easily removed with a paint of light grey and slight green tint.

The 1932 Ford Deuce Roadster was also introduced as one of the Henry Ford’s most innovative efforts, an affordable v8 engine, which was very easy to modify to make more power. The old ’32 Fords and its v8 engines flathead became legendary with early racers and hot rodders.

Sedans have become the choice of a lot of men especially with how low their prices can get. The fact is: year after year, new sedans are being manufactured by auto giants such as Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, and Porsche. The Sedan has become the most dominant class in the world and that’s because it combines functionality and aesthetics effortlessly. With 2008 winding down, here’s a look to the best sedans that 2009 has to offer.

10.Chevrolet Malibu

The first word that would come out of your mouth when you see the Chevrolet Malibu is “whoa”. Not only is this car not bad, but it’s totally fabulous. The fact is: it was a huge step from the model it replaced. Without a doubt, the 2009 Chevrolet Malibu will be a strong contender in the sedan class this coming 2009.

9.Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S

If you’re buying a car from Italy, chances are, it’s gonna be loud, mad, and simply fantastic. This car is able to rumble to as much as 425-horsepower and its 4.7-liter V8 engine is able to thrust it from 0-60 mph in only 5.03 seconds. If that’s not enough, this road monster can terrorize the road by going as fast as 174 mph. The downside however is its price: 125 thousand grand, although a lot of people can afford it, certainly not everyone.

8.Jaguar XF

The Jaguar had a great past and with the release of the Jaguar XF, its future was solidified. The car has a modern and even futuristic look that even average enthusiasts can notice. The curious thing about this car is that it looks good in reality than in photos, so better drop by to the nearest dealer to get a good look of this baby.

7.Hyundai Genesis

BMW and Mercedes are still the best in sedan manufacturing and for decades and some of the recognized names in Asia, Europe, and America have been playing catch up for so long. The fact is, the Germans have been superbly great in performance, precision, and perfection. However, Hyundai hopes to make a dent by introducing the Hyundai Genesis. This car certainly has the appeal that you want from a sedan and the good news is, it does not cost that much.

6.Mazda 6

The Mazda Axela has been able to put Mazda back into the automotive map. In 2009, The Mazda 6 is expected to hit the runway and is expected to be even more successful than its predecessors. The Mazda 6 is definitely bigger and aside from that, it has better interior according to reports.

5.Infiniti G37

Infiniti finally came into its own after the release of Nissan Z. On the other hand, the Infiniti G37 shares the same genetic makeup with Nissan Z, although there are more lines and it surely is so much stronger. The Infiniti G37 has a V6 engine that is capable of producing as much as 306-horsepower.

4.Audi A4

The A4 series became better with the new Audi A4. The designs are better and it’s even expected to become even faster than its precursor. Aside from that, the interior space is bigger and its design is subtle, yet still maintaining that Audi look that we’ve become so familiar with.

3.Cadillac CTS-V

One word that best describes this car is “fast” and it’s actually considered the fastest production sedan in the market today. The car can generate as much as 556-horsepower through its 6.2 liter, supercharged V8 engine that does its thing under the hood. And since we’re talking about speed, the Cadillac CTS-V can cruise up to 193 mph without any effort. Without a doubt, this car is going to make you drool once you put your eyes on it.

2.Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG

If you want that high-end look without going through the roof when it comes to expenditure, this car is better than the CTS-V. However, you have to bear in mind that you’re going to give away a little bit when it comes to speed (155 mph) and acceleration (4.3 seconds from 0-60 mph).

1.Bentley Continental Flying Spur Speed

With a weird name reserved for mediocre cars, it’s a bit surprising that this car is at the top of this list. So why is this car with a weird name at number 1? Simple. It has a massive 6.0-liter engine, which can generate as much as 600 horsepower. That’s not all, because it can go from 0-60 mph in only 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 200 mph. How’s that for a sedan?

10.Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts

Remember that spooky film wherein the best actor was a Shark? Yes you got that right, this place is where the infamous movie, Jaws was filmed. This place was perfect for this Spielberg film, because even 12 miles away from the shore; it was only 30 feet deep. Because of that, it’s a lot easier for the mechanical shark to work. Right after the movie was released, the visitors to Martha’s Vineyard increased drastically.

9. Monroeville Mall, Monroeville, Pennsylvania

Consumer culture was attacked this George Romero’s classic called Dawn of the Dead. What better way to do it by doing it inside the Monroeville Mall in Pennsylvania. The fact is: Romero shot the whole film right after the mall closed, at around 10 in the evening. The actors and actresses definitely felt like zombies because of the graveyard shift that the shooting had. So there you go, if you want a mall where the dead had been, the Monroeville is definitely it.

8.3600 Prospect Avenue, Washington, DC

The exorcist is arguably one of the scariest films that is filmed with had a child for the leading role. The truth is, there had been several paranormal incidents that occurred when the filming was taking place, which prompted the production crew to get a real priest to bless the set. This house was merely used because of its exteriors and boy did it do its job quite well.

7.Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco, Blairstown, New Jersey

If you happen to have watched this film, this was the place that was used as Crystal Lake where Pamela killed several people in cold-blooded fashion. This is the place wherein one of the most ghastly killing sprees happened in film. However, just like Martha’s Vineyard; this quiet place in Northern New Jersey still attracts kids and adults in droves as a topnotch camping area.

6.The Clutter House, Holcomb, Kansas

If you’re into real-life horror locales, then this sleepy house in Kansas will surely get your hair standing up in no time. This is actually the place where Perrry Smith and Richard Hickock murdered an entire family hoping to get millions, but ending up with only 40 dollars in their pockets. Both murderers were killed via hanging and this house is still for sale and up for grabs.

5.1000 Mission Street, South Pasadena, California

John Carpenter’s masterpiece is sure to make you think a million times, before setting your foot inside this building. That’s because this is where the film Halloween was shot and where the grisly killings happened in the movie. Today, this place in 1000 Mission Street serves as an office for a chiropractor.

4.4267 Roxbury St, Simi Valley, California

If there’s any film that is as scary as it was off screen, then it could Poltergeist, which was shot in 4267 Roxbury St. There had been several deaths to the cast of the film and these were Dominique Dunn (murdered by a jealous ex-boyfriend), Heather O’Rourke (died of an acute case of sepsis at the age of 12 in 1988), and Julian Kane (stomach cancer in 1985). However, the same family that allowed the whole production crew to use it 26 years ago, is still living in this place.

3.The Dakota in New York City, New York

If Rosemary’s Baby isn’t enough to freak you out, then I don’t know what will. This building is different from other locales in this list because it happens to be one of the most famous in New York. This is the place where Satan impregnates the leading female character and where the whole story basically revolves. The Dakota is so historical that the legendary John Lennon lived here and where he was eventually shot to death.

2.The Stanley Hotel, Estes Park, Colorado

Stephen King used this hotel as his inspiration when he wrote this thriller masterpiece, he Shining. The hotel is somewhat considered to be haunted because of a ghost named Miss Wilson who roams all around the place at night. Also, Miss Wilson stays at room 217, where Stephen King stayed when he was writing the book. However, not everything is scary when it comes to this hotel, because this was also used for the shooting of Dumb and Dumber.

1.112 Ocean Avenue, Amityville, New York

If you haven’t heard of the De Feo murders and Amityville, then you’ve been hiding under a rock for too long. This is the place where Ronald De Feo Jr., killed his entire family before being captured by the authorities on the night of November 13, 1974. This event has been the subject of both literature and media for decades, especially after the Lutz family was claimed to have been terrorized by supernatural elements. The Lutz family moved out after 28 days and to this day, this place is considered the most haunted place in the United States.

Alois Ruf may not be a household name for the average household, but for those who are in the know, the man can simply be credited for his creation of a fantastic car called the 2008 RUF CTR3. Contrary to popular belief, RUF has been in operation for more than six decades, although Alois was the one instrumental for venturing into the sport car industry. Ever since the very first Porsche-inspired RUF car, Alois wanted to get a share of the ultra-competitive exotic car market. With that being said, he recently launched the 2008 RUF CTR3 that made a few heads turn during several auto shows. So what’s with this super car that others don’t have? Alois basically sums it up with one phrase: Bugatti Veyron performance in just 1/3 of the price. If you think that statement is too unbelievable, better read on and find out.

The Car

The 2008 RUF CTR3 seems like a Porsche and it’s not surprising since it was heavily influenced by it. However, the performance of this car is certainly very far from the best Porsche cars out there. Basically, it has carbon-fiber bodywork that lets it glide effortlessly on the road. Despite of that, Alois knew that it’s going to be a very good idea of compromise toughness. Also, the 2008 RUF CTR3 has a completely reupholstered leather and Alcantara interior for that additional stylish look that you are looking for.

Without a doubt, this car is as good as it looks when it comes to performance. The 2008 RUF CTR3 has a 3.6 liter flat-6 Porsche engine that is capable of unleashing a monstrous 700 horsepower. To put that in perspective, that’s enough to power to put into use several buses all at once. In addition, it can zoom to 60 miles in just 3.2 seconds and if you don’t know fast it is, it will probably take you longer to finish this sentence than this car reaching 60 miles. If that’s not enough, this car can go as fast as 235 mph, while producing an intense 657 lb.-ft of torque. Despite of the many observations that the 2008 RUF CTR3 looks like an upgraded Porsche, it still maintains its originality and identity is certainly its own.

The Practicality

A super car such as this can cost as much as 519,000 USD and that’s a lot of money if you’re not filthy rich. The car isn’t going to produce that much power if its target is fuel economy, although it has pretty decent MPG numbers. The 2008 RUF CTR3 can use up a gallon of fuel for 13 miles in the city and 18 miles in the highway. Having said that, it offers more to the table compared to other super cars out there and the great thing is, it does not cost as much.

Moreover, the 2008 RUF CTR3 can really age gracefully as proven by some of the cars that its manufacturer has launched in the past. Aside from that, getting the 2008 RUF CTR3 repaired is not a problem at all, considering the sheer number of service centers that RUF has all over the US. Another thing is that this car isn’t very demanding when it comes to maintenance. Despite of that, it continues to be a tiger that has been under large amounts of energy drinks when on the road.

Overall, the 2008 RUF CTR3 is a good choice if you have the means. Looks wise, it is far from a Veyron, although it’s not too far behind when it comes to performance.

Most people fail to realize that you work not because you want to get promoted, but because you want to have enough money so you can slack in the future. The fact is, you can’t be young forever and that means there will come a time that no one’s going to hire you because of your age. Not to mention that, we don’t want to work for the rest of our lives. What I’m trying to say is that, we all need to save every penny that comes across our plate. As the saying goes, it’s not how much you earn, but how much you actually save. Here are some of the things that every man should aspire for, before the curtain closes down on him.

1. Saving for a House

My father always stressed that owning a home is far more important than owning a car. The thing is, there are many housing offers out there that are affordable once you’ve saved enough. You can’t rent forever and when I say house that means it is not a room in some five-storey building. Buying a home might be costly, but you don’t have to pay for it in one fell swoop, because it usually takes several decades for you to get the job done.

2.Retirement Account

At twenty-something, retiring is far from everyone’s mind but of course, anyone can choose an early retirement and just have his business. The fact is, this kind of savings plan should never be sidelined. Start this as soon as possible and make sure that you spend something in it every payday. This would really be a huge help a few decades in the future when your knees start to throb and your steps become slower.

3.Education Savings

Once you start your family, this should be at the forefront of your priorities. Once your kid reaches college, which will be one big financial investment that can take toll on your salary if you can’t prioritize it. Studies show that a person earns 800,000 more when he or she has a degree as opposed to someone who does not. Aside from the numbers, education is the only thing that you can leave your kid and you want to be remembered well when you’re gone right? The problem though is that, you might be able to save enough cash because your kid can grow really fast without you noticing it. So the solution? Never have a kid when you aren’t ready both financially and mentally.

4. The Emergency Fund

You’ll never know what’s going happen in the future, hence the whole idea of saving money. Experts believe that every person should have money that would last for 3-6 months, if ever the worst happens. The truth is, everything starts from scratch and the emergency account is an example. That means deposit 500-1000 dollars every payday, which is about 2.7 percent of your monthly earnings. Of course, everything beyond that is welcomed. The emergency fund is where you’ll put your money when push comes to shove. That means you will be able to get to it anytime to bail you out. Try to set it up in a bank where it will earn a few percentages every year. Believe me, no matter how small the increase may be, it’s a lot better than not having it at all.

When we were kids, saving money was one of the most common things that our parents taught us to do. Most people are not in control of their finances and that speak volumes of what the quality of their life is. Being able to save is one way of preparing for the future because you’ll never know what an asshole life can be.

I have nothing against cars that can give you a super-driving experience and tons of gadgets. However, it isn’t a secret that some of the accessories that cars have are not really needed. These things are there because the manufacturers need to sell and earn some profit. So what are these shamefully over-hyped things in your own ride? Read on and find out

10.Airscarf

The first thing that anyone would think when they hear the word airscarf is what it’s meant for. The airscarf is essentially a small heater that is placed in the seat, which is directly under the neck of the passengers. The idea is to provide extra heat especially during very cold days. The truth is, you can wear a real scarf, without even bothering to turn this thing on. Aside from that, you can simply turn off the AC and you’ll be perfectly fine.

9.Tachometer

Tachometers were initially meant for the high-performance driver and because of its unique ability to measure the RPM. However, through the years, this part has become a staple for every vehicle, even if it’s merely a mini car or a truck. The truth is, you don’t need a tachometer, unless you racing in Le Mans.

8.The Emergency Trunk Release

In the Lotus Elise case, the existence of the emergency release trunk is pathetic, considering how small the trunk space it has.

7.Bose Media System

If you want to fill your car with noise in the middle of the heavy traffic, then a Bose Media System ought to be held liable. The truth is, ordinary speakers would suffice, because all you want is something to keep you entertained while you’re driving right?

6.Park Distance Control

This accessory can be seen first hand in the Mini Cooper. Before you get me started, the Mini Cooper is a incredible ride that I have always wanted. On second though, its park distance control is something that I shudder at everything I think about it. The truth is, this accessory is useful if you’re driving a ten-wheeler truck however, if you’re inside a 12-foot car such as the Mini Car, that’s a bit too much.

5. 62TE Transmission

This kind of transmission can be found in the Dodge Grand Caravan, the problem is, it also has an automatic transmission in it. Preferably, a car should only have one kind of transmission and to have more than one is plain and simple ridiculous. Yeah it’s a great option to have manual transmission, but would you use it if you already have automatic? The point is, it’s waster effort just putting it in the 62TE Transmission.

4.Paddle Shifters

If you’re car is as small as the Smart Fortwo, which can only afford to generate 71-horsepower, there’s no point in having this useless add-on. Unless, you’re driving a Ferrari 430 Scuderia’s F1, which can generate as much as 420-horsepower.

3.Brush Guard

Brush Guards are needed if you’re driving in jungles and mountainous areas. However, the manufacturers of Hummer still equipped it with this adornment, which does not serve any purpose. Why? As big as it is, most Hummers are driven in the concrete jungle, so what’s the point of using brush guards in the first place?

2.Leather Air Vents

An air vent is an air vent, whether it’s leather, plastic, wood or even paper. Seriously, why would anyone put a 2,100-dollar gadget that does not have any purpose but to embellish a rarely-noticed part?

1.Advanced Parking Guidance System

You don’t do parallel parking all the time right? And the truth is, most drivers can do this thing even without the aid of this technology. Spending more than 3000 dollars for an accessory that is hardly ever used is a big no-no.

Fire exits are arguably one of the most underutilized spaces invented by humans. It’s only meant for one purpose and that’s to provide an easy access in case of fire, earthquake, or even a nuclear attack. Other than that, the fire exit is a total waste of space that ought to be put to good use. Here are some things that fire exits can be used for.

1.A Secret Meeting Place

If you want to discuss sensitive information without getting caught, the fire exit is a sure-fire choice. The fire exit is usually empty during normal days and most of them don’t have cameras that can put you into trouble. Whether you’re planning to create a new world order or simply planning a night out, the fire exit is a discreet and great way of doing things in a surreptitious manner.

2. Motel Room

Yeap that’s right, if you and your girl can no longer contain the itch, the fire exit is a good place to let off some steam. The great thing about the fire exit as a substitute for the motel room is that, there is a slight chance of getting caught and it is big enough to give you enough time to flee. That means there is more excitement, which makes sex even more enticing. If you’re quite adventurous, you can even smile at the security camera and leave before someone catches you. Just be ready for the succeeding sex scandal that might blow up anytime after doing it.

3.Smoking Areas

The fire exit is rarely used, so it’s definitely the best place if you can no longer resist the urge to smoke. For a smoker, being trapped inside a no-smoking area for several hours can prove to excruciating. So before you exhibit signs of withdrawal, find a fire exit and light a cigarette in there. The fact is, the smoker can instantly feel the symptoms of withdrawal without lighting a stick for only a couple of hours. So instead of straying too far to get that life-inducing puff, go to the fire exit and light a cigarette.

4. A Pest Diversion

If you’re living in an apartment building, chances are, you have to deal with pests that seem to sprout just about anywhere. Because of that, these little critters are always a problem. Instead of wasting so much time and money buying the most sophisticated pesticides out there, putting some leftover food in the fire exit and using it as a diversion will certainly help. So how will you do it? Put some leftover food in the fire exit, then kill those pesky little critters with some old-school pesticides.

5.A Hangout Place

For the college and high school peeps out there, it’s hard to pick a nice spot to hang out because the best places are already occupied by the bigger groups and not to mention older groups. Instead of being nomadic, the fire exit will serve as a great place for you and your friends to waste time and just do anything that you want without the usual annoying faces in the campus. The fire exit is where you can eat, have fun, and even study and the great thing is, you don’t have to deal with annoying crowds at all. If that’s not enough, the fire exit can give protection against the sun and rain.

Life is short and these are three letters that say a lot about us, mere mortals. The truth is, we spend so much time doing things that we don’t really enjoy and one of which is working. Sadly, very few are privileged enough to do the things that they want. The point is, making the most out of our lives does not necessarily require several million dollars. That means everyone should make an effort learning something new all the time and learning to appreciate it, even if it fails. It may take quite a while, but it does not matter, for sure these things are going to be cool even if you become old. So before you gasp for your last breath, why not read on and try to learn some of things that I’ve written below.

1.Writing Backwards

I know it does not seem to have any purpose, but writing backwards is even tougher than writing with your weaker hand. Once you are able to master this, it will let you befuddle your friends, colleagues, and even your parents no end. After being able to write backwards, put some mustard on that skill by mastering other languages. For sure you’ll be freaking out anyone who sees you doing it in a jiffy.

2.Fake Voices and Accents

Being able to change your accent from being an Africa-American to an Irish guy will certainly make a lot of people look your way, if not impressing them altogether. The thing is, mastering several accents does not only make you a very unique individual, it shows how really cultured you are. This skill is not only great when you’re meeting a hot chick, it’s also useful when you’re meeting a client from a place such as Europe and even the Middle East. Big bucks and great chicks are the things that most men are meant for, so learn this skill now.

3.Painting sans the Hands

Ok, this may sound ridiculous and even a bit too impossible, but once you learn this trick, you’ll be an instant celebrity (well maybe not). The fact is, painting is already a very tedious and wonderful gift, but what about being able to do it with your mouth, butt, and even eyelashes? Now that’s what we call extraordinary. If you want to get rich, while getting worldwide acclaim, this one is for you.

4.Hitting a Fly with an Arrow

Now being able to hit accurately the bull’s eye can get you to your country’s Olympic team. But imagine being able to take it to another level such as using a bow and arrow to hit an obscure and helpless fly. Although using the arrow is a bit passé and outdated, it’s still a very handy tool, especially if you’re into very tight situations. Just be sure to have enough space for your bow and arrow, because you’ll never know where and when danger will strike.

5.Catching a Mosquito using Chopsticks

Now this is nifty, but it’ll take so much dedication and time in order for you to master this skill. Now this may look like a very primitive way of driving off flies, but in reality, it’ll enhance your eye and hand coordination that you’ll be able to beat the best video game players out there. Even if you can’t master your skill, exemplary eye and hand coordination will surely take you to places.

So there, before you croak try to learn these skills and for sure, you’ve got the balls to tell everyone that you lived your life to the fullest.

The modern age has given us technological advantages that are ancestors could not have imagined possible. However, the more technology available, the more distractions and work that leaves us too busy to even find time for sleep. Without a doubt, sleeping is an essential part of our routine and completely discarding it can cause someone to go insane, literally. Isn’t it amazing how so many people are struggling just to get enough sleep? The truth is, it’s hard to pinpoint one big cause of this generation’s lack of sleep, although it’s good to know that there are ways to help people who are sleep deprived. Here are some tips:

1. Wake Up Early

Although late-night TV or DVD watching is definitely tempting, hauling yourself around 5 or 6 am is one easy way to being able to sleep early at night. The truth is, you need to follow a certain sleep routine, because it sets the timing of your sleep clock. The number of hours of sleep is immaterial if you don’t sleep at the right time. That means you have to sleep at exactly the same time each day and wake at around the same time as well. Although waking up at a specific time requires discipline and lots of its, it sets your sleeping clock at the right time, which can make your days better.

2. Don’t Read or Watch Serious Stuff

I always have a hard time sleeping after reading a pretty heavy material or watching something really scary. The fact is, these things set your mind to the active mode and that means, you’ll have a more difficult time sleeping because you’re always thinking of them. Before going to bed, let your mind take on the passive mode and to do this, watch something funny or read some fiction material. Let your mind just enjoy without having to contemplate on some serious stuff. That way, sleep will come easier for you.

3. Turn Off the Lights

Remember the time when your mother tells you to turn off the lights before sleeping? When we were kids, we wanted the room to be bright because we’re scared of the dark. However, doing it into adulthood is not only impractical, it is also one way of not being able to sleep soundly. The fact is, turning the lights off kills all the stimuli that your eyes might send to your brain. Aside from that, even the smallest amount of light can affect your sleep, so better turn all of your lights before you bid your day goodbye.

4. Relax

One of the reasons why we end up not sleeping enough is we just think of a lot of things all the time, even if we’re supposed to take some rest already. When we’re at home, we should make a point to forget all the things that has something to do with work. Our home is our sanctuary and it’s the place where we rest our thoughts and body. When you want to sleep, just remove all the thoughts that bug your head and just plain and simple relax. Once you are able to do this, you easily notice that sleeping becomes way easier.

5. No Computers

Surfing the internet before sleeping might be effective for some people, but as far as I am concerned, sleeping becomes even more difficult because of it. Just like lights, computers are sources of stimuli that can arouse your mind further. Aside from that, you’ll end up surfing or watching things that can delay your sleep, leaving you tired and increasing your sleep debt.

Overall, you need your body to recharge after a hard day’s work and to that, you need to have a decent sleeping hygiene. Pulling out an all nighter is not only tough, but sleepy as well.

The racing legend Ford GT40 inspired what must be one of America’s most recent sport car, the Ford GT. Historically speaking, the Ford GT40 is Ford’s answer to Ferrari that dominated the top racing spectacles in the world. The Ford GT40 was Mr. Ford’s reply way back in the 60’s to the Italian car-making giant. It did not only compete against Ferrari, it also won some of the prestigious tournaments like the 24 Hour de Le Mans in 67,68, and 69. During that time it was huge, because Ford wasn’t known as a race car at all. Now, let’s take a look at the Ford GT and see whether this new version is as good as its predecessor.

The Car

Ford Company has decided to bring back the legend and improve the parts that made it the top dog in auto racing. The car has a 5.4 liter V8 engine that is capable of producing as much as 550 horsepower. Aside from that, it has an extremely rigid chassis that can withstand the high-performance demands of this super ride. When it comes to acceleration, the Ford GT is top of the line. It can sprint to 60 miles in well over 3.5 seconds and it has a top speed of 178 mph. The car also has forged aluminum to make it tough as nails. Aside from that, you’ll feel that you will be brought back in time, because Ford engineers kept the same lines of the original Ford GT40.

Once you sit down, you will suddenly feel how similar this car is to its predecessor from the 60s. The Ford GT uses a wide gauge, a shift knob made of metal, and toggle switches for that old, throwback look. The fact is, the Ford GT looks somewhat similar to the Ford GT40, while being able to modernize its controls and performance.

The Practicality

An exotic car like the Ford GT is rarely is not practical and if you can afford this, I don’t think practicality is even an issue at all. However, for the sake of arguing, let’s see how well this car will score when it comes to practicality. When it comes to fuel economy, you don’t have to use drastic measures of hypermiling in order to extend your fuel. The Ford GT has a 13 mpg in the city and 21 mpg in the highway. Now don’t fret just yet, for an exotic car that can reach 60 miles under five seconds, those numbers are decent. Compared to other exotic cars, the Ford GT is the best when it comes to fuel economy.

On a different note, if you’re wondering how to maintain this car, then you won’t have any problems at all. Unlike other exotic cars that needed to be shipped, there are perhaps more Ford outlets out there than 7-11 stores. You won’t have to make expensive shipping, because legitimate Ford dealers are virtually everywhere.

The Ford GT is already a solid choice in its own right. However, just like most if not all exotic cars, this one lacks the space that can let you bring extra stuff with you. It only has a grand total of two cubic feet of cargo space, which is not a lot. Lastly, compared to a Lamborghini or a Bugatti, the Ford GT is already one heckuva bargain at 150,000 USD. Basically, the car is a solid choice for an everyday car, although it has what it has everything to be on the race track.

Conclusion

Overall, the Ford GT is a great exotic car that will give you the edge that you need without even resorting for more expensive European rides out there. It’s great when it comes to performance and for an exotic ride, it has enough practical points to impress even the not-so-hardcore fans.
